Jul ’Mdama and the Rise of a New Covenant
Jul ’Mdama begins the postwar era as a Sangheili caught between civil war, human manipulation, and the collapse of the religion that once defined his civilization. He emerges as the leader of the most powerful movement to resurrect Covenant identity after the empire’s destruction. This episode examines how Jul’s experiences with humanity, the death of his wife, and his knowledge of Forerunner sites transform him into an enemy of both the UNSC and the Arbiter. Rather than rebuilding the old Covenant exactly, Jul assembles warriors who still revere the Forerunners, oppose human influence, or simply need a new military patron.
